It was a fun packed day. Visitors started arriving at 1pm with children lining up eager to start the Walk-A-Thon. Many children went out of there way to raise funds for our school, as well as asking family for sponsorship, some even approached businesses, popping down to the local high street to collect sponsors. We are extremely grateful to every child that took part.

The fair was hosted at Mumbai Gardens, we had 35 stalls, with many activities, like sand painting, t-shirt printing and delicious food. The high light of the summer fair was the presence of a fire engine and police car. Children got to sit in these vehicles getting a tour and even having a go turning on the siren.

It was a successful summer fair, we raised £5,715. In total FOAH, have raised £11,000 over the last 3 years. We now have enough to purchase the long awaited school minibus. Everyone is excited, especially the children. They will finally be driven around to school trips, events and sports events in a brand new Avanti House minibus.
