Oh what a night… Guests certainly were dressed to impress and ready for an evening of entertainment at FOAH’s first Dinner and Dance.
The event kicked off with a spectacular dance show by AK Bollywood Dance. This captured the attention of the younger guests who immediately filled the dancefloor for the workshop that followed, eager to learn the moves to some of their favourite tracks.
Guests had the opportunity to catchup and chat while enjoying a delicious 3 course meal and the opportunity to partake in a splendid raffle. Generously donated prizes included gold earrings, designer sunglasses, dinner for 2, beauty treatments and tuition lesson.
Our enthusiastic DJ blasted out Indian and English hits, the music catering for all tastes and generations. The shimmying and smiles on the packed starlit dance floor were testament to the enjoyable time people were having.
An interactive photo booth was a huge hit and rounded off the fabulous evening, providing many lasting and amusing memories; where else have you seen Godzilla doing the Dab? Tired smiles and happy farewells filtered out of the hall, with faint murmurs of “make it longer next time” echoing in the air.
We raised a huge £4668.38 from this event and these funds will hugely benefit the school and children.
As always, our gratitude and thanks to our generous main sponsors for the evening, Bowmer & Kirkland, Golden Tours and Hira Construction. Further thanks to all who contributed with sponsorship, generosity, time and energy.
