Summer Fair 2022

We are delighted to announce we will be holding this year’s Friends Of Avanti House Summer Fair 2022 sponsored by Prideview Group at Avanti House Primary School on Sunday 17th July 2022 from 11am to 4pm.

All funds raised from the event will go towards bringing to life the plans we shared during the AGM, which our children will enjoy and benefit from.

Tickets will be on sale from week commencing 20th June. Please Note: All children will be subject to the cost of the activities or are welcome to purchase a Golden Ticket.


RAFFLE PRIZE COLLECTION

Raffles are a great way to raise funds but this goes hand-in-hand with having some amazing prizes on offer. We are looking to our FOAH community to donate some lovely raffle prizes, more the merrier!

If you would like to drop something off, please do so during the following collection times:

TOMBOLA COLLECTION

We will have a tombola stand and we need your help, we would really appreciate it if you could drop off any packaged unwanted gifts to school during one of the collection dates below but no later than Thursday 7th July. The gifts should be in working order, no cracks or breakages. We will accept anything from wrapped ‘smellies’ such as bath salts, hand cream, soaps, perfume/aftershave, mugs in their boxes. Please do not send something that you would not appreciate receiving.

VOLUNTEERS

Previous Summer Fairs have attracted over 500 people and 2022 will be no exception to the rule. To make this event even more successful we need your help. The current planning team is a small group of parents and we are recruiting for volunteers to help before, during and after the event. Volunteers can be parents, siblings, grandparents and even friends that want to get involved.

On the day, volunteers can commit to helping with the setup of the event or help run activity stalls. No matter what your expertise are, we will find the perfect task for you. Even if you can’t spend the entire day helping, please commit yourselves for a short time to make this event a success together. If you would like to join the excitement please register by completing the volunteers form by no later than Friday 3rd July.
